Life is going to throw some things your way that you don’t want. You would not wish them to happen, but a phone call, an accident, a bad report, something shared with you, and it all changes. Everything in an instant changes. POP. Just like that and life takes new meaning and direction. Your heart aches, your mind shuffles, you feel a bit lost and wondering what to do. These are key moments in our life, and we all have them. We all experience different versions of this, but we are never alone in feeling pain.
It’s the ability to navigate these issues that make the difference between fully living or giving way to our hurts. The only acceptable outcome will be victory. Not in a sense that the outcome will be what you WANT, but that in this event there can be victory. Your life is going to change, you will make changes, what you EXPECTED is now changed, but it will be alright. You will grow from it; you will be stronger from it – you can have a story of victory over it. And then when someone else has a similar situation – you are there to encourage, influence and guide. Your story is one of Victory.
God often leads us on journeys we would never go on if it were up to us. Don’t be afraid. Take courage. Have faith. Trust God.
