Farmer Tough is not about being raised or working on a farm. It’s a mindset towards your work. Even if you never baled hay, milked cows or fed the animals before school, you can still choose to be Farmer Tough. Farmer Tough is a mindset. It’s the mindset of planting in the spring to harvest in the fall. Being Farmer Tough is about being intentional with your work; finishing what’s needed for the day; accomplishing your goals instead of worrying about the time (farm time).

When you are Farmer Tough you are humble-hearted and have a strong character. You don’t need to brag about your accomplishments or wins, you just expect them as the rewards of hard work. You accomplish your goal, nod your head, and are on to the next thing. When you are Farmer Tough, you show up Day-In and Day-Out.

  • “To have a ‘happy body,’ one they define as strong, lean, stress-free and injury-free, they advocate lead protein vegetables; occasional treats; adequate rest; and time away from work to clear the mind. On their plan, food and drink are not the main pleasures of life.” – Jerzy and Aniela Gregorek
  • “This is the process by which failure is changed to success. Thoughts of courage, power, inspiration, harmony, are substituted for thoughts of failure, despair, lack, limitation, and discord.” – Charles Haanel in the book, The Master Keys
  • “The most loving thing we can do for someone is to accept them. The most unloving thing we can do is try to change them. When you try to change someone you are effectively saying that you know whats best for them. Your unsolicited ‘help’ is a way of controlling and judging them. People may not show up the way you want them to, but when you accept them where they are, you can let go, forgive and release.” – Gabrielle Bernstein in the book, Judgement Detox
